International Students Application Process

Full English Programs : Bachelor & Master 2nd year

** For any application to a program taught in French (Bachelor Mixed track, or Master), a B2 level in French is required.

A French language certificate less than 2 years old on 1 January of the year of application must be attached to the application (TECF, TEF or TFI tests - DELF, DALF, DUEF diplomas accepted, without limit of time) UNLESS you are native from a country whose official language is French.

Below is the procedure for applying for our programs in English.

Step 1: Submission of the application on the “Etudes en France” platform.
The deadline for submission of applications depends on each embassy.
Step 2: Pre-selection.
The students whose application is selected by Grenoble IAE - INP, UGA will receive a message mid-March 2023 inviting them to submit an application on eCandidat platform.
Step 3: Confirmation of application.
If you have been selected, you must submit an application on eCandidat before 9 April 2023.
Step 4: Selection interviews.
A personal interview will be organized during April 2023.
Step 5: Admission results.
The admission results will be available on the “Etudes en France” and eCandidat platforms at the end of April 2023.

This platform allows you to enter your personal details (you must have an email address), to choose the programs you wish to apply for, to compile your application, to follow its progress and to consult the opinions given.
You can only apply to 4 programs throughout the Université Grenoble Alpes (UGA).
The application remains available at any time in your personal space during the campaign. You must scan and/or download the required supporting documents and regularly consult your e-mail box and/or your eCandidat account.

If students meet the prerequisites and are deemed eligible for the program, they are then invited for an interview with a panel of faculty and professionals in the field. During this interview students will be expected to explain their academic and professional paths, their motivations for choosing this program, and their professional goals related to this program. Interviews may be arranged via Skype if the student does not currently reside in France and is unable to attend in person.

Admission Prerequisites

Any student wishing to apply for admission to our programs must provide proof of the following:
  • Completed application through eCandidat or Campus France website (more details in International Students Application Process)
  • For a Bachelor, completion of at least two years study at university level in Management and Business Administration (minimum of 120 ECTS credits for Europe)
  • For an M2, completion of the first year of a Master's degree or four years study at university level (minimum of 240 ECTS credits for Europe)

Language Proficiency


B2 level is required to apply to our programs entirely taught in English.

Students applying for full English programs must provide the results of an English Language test taken after 01/01/2022.

Applicants from countries where English is the official language are exempt from the English test. The identity document will be taken as proof.


Results of the test must be submitted before application deadline or your application will not be considered.

Oral language proficiency will also be tested during the interview.

Program Costs

Tuition fees are made up of national fees set by the Ministry of Higher Education and Research, and the Student Life and Campus Contribution (CVEC).

National fees

Who is concerned ?

Differentiated fees

Students not eligible for the national fee must pay the differentiated fee.
In 2022 - 2023 : 
 

Diploma Differentiated fees
Bachelor in Management 170 euros
Masters 3770 euros

The institution applies the rules incurring the payment of differentiated fees by non-E.U students.

The full amount of the owed tuition fees does not have to be paid at the start of the academic year: an instalment plan may be scheduled.

In addition, admitted students will receive information about the various scholarships available to Grenoble INP-UGA students.

Finally, if your personal situation justifies it, a partial or total exemption may be decided upon, on request, by the Student Social Commission. The Commission's decision is based on a social evaluation and an examination of the financial resources of the student and her/his family.

Exemption from tuition fees cannot be guaranteed, as the number of exempted students is limited by national regulations.

 

Student Life and Campus Contribution (CVEC)

Each student in a higher education institution must obtain, prior to enrollment, a certificate of payment of the Student Life and Campus Contribution (CVEC), by payment or exemption. For information, it is €95 in 2022-2023

Scholarships

If you have limited resources, you might be granted a scholarship based on social criteria to help pay for your studies. Scholarship requests must be submitted between January 15th and April 30th through the CROUS website.

In addition, many international students apply for scholarships through programs in their home country or through CampusFrance.  Grenoble IAE does not offer additional scholarships for international students.

High-Level Athletes

High-level athletes must inform the UGA Sports Department of their application to Grenoble IAE as soon as they have applied.
